The main duties and responsibilities of the job (job description);

• Developing sales opportunities with New Businesses .
• Developing long term relationships with customers across the territory.
• Contributing towards our clients long term growth expectations.
• Planning client visits and sourcing leads.
• Meeting and exceeding sales forecasts for the area.
• Providing product related support and assisting customers when needed.
• Monitoring customer product satisfaction and advising on new solutions where required.
• Managing sales team and setting sales target

Skills, interests and qualities

Ideal candidate will be a skilled Investigator and Interviewer, have drive & resilience, integrity, computer Literacy and excellent communication and people skills.

S/he will have experience of working in multi site Loss Prevention / Security in the commercial sector, preferably Retail / Distribution,

Qualifications

A degree or a postgraduate qualification in Business Administration or a related subject. For example:

• Sales
• Management
• Marketing

Experience needed;

Previous experience in a sales field or relevant sales management experience.

Hours of work; 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours could be more irregular and may involve early starts, late finishes and working at the weekend if you are meeting a deadline or reacting to a crisis. You would normally work in an office. You may also travel to attend Sales Seminars, Exhibitions, events and conferences, and to meet clients.

Required experience:

Sales Management or in Security services Sales :1- 2 years

Source and develop profitable new business
• Effective communication with existing and potential customers.
• The compilation of effective tender proposals.
• Preparation of quotations and tenders
• Prompt action of sales leads as DIRECTED by the senior team.
• Timely and accurate completion of tender QUESTIONNAIREShttp://cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10×10.png.
• Effective maintenance of Company sales database.
• Completion of accurate weekly sales activity reports

Skills, interests and qualities

Previous experience developing business in the UK Security or Manned Guarding sector
• First class negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and reliant.
• Must have good presentation skills,
• Persistent and competitive Candidates must have prior experience selling either security systems or Manned Guarding in the UK. flexibility and the ability to multi-task
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Resilience, to cope if your ideas are turned down or criticised
• The ability to pay close attention to detail
• The ability to work with all kinds of clients
• An interest in the media.
